Nos llego este mail de Cesar Huesca, relacionado con el concurso Guitar Idol.
Hola a todos.

Les mando este mail que recibí de parte de Owen Edwards uno de los directores/moderadores/jueces de Guitar Idol para alcarar todas sus dudas respecto al concurso y mi situación ahí. Los que no sepan Inglés lo siento mucho jaja, si no les da hueva usen un traductor en linea y listo.

Quiero decir que el concurso me ha dado buenas cosas, me ha aumentado la promoción en Inglaterra y Europa y el tráfico en mis páginas, ya más gente espera la salida de mi CD y saben de mi música, conocí a muchos guitarristas excelentes de todo el mundo entre otras cosas. Muchos de ustedes saben que mi futuro no dependía de este concurso mucho menos sembré un sueño en él. A diferencia de otros concursantes la música no es mi pasatiempo, la música es mi pasión pero también es mi trabajo, yo ya vengo realizando mi sueño desde años atrás, y esto es mi sueño, poder hacer lo que me gusta todos los días, tocar y hacer música con la guitarra y compartir con tantos amigos y músicos alrededor y si aparte soy pagado por hacerlo pues que mejor jeje.

Gracias de nuevo a todos por sus votos y les mando muchos saludos, como pueden ver, logré posisionarme bien, eso fue gracias al apoyo que todos ustedes me brindaron.

Ahora sí jaja, sirvanse leer lo que me mandaron :)

I am writing to let you know that you were shortlisted for the Live Final of Guitar Idol 2008. With over 700 entries from all over the world, I hope you are pleased to know that you were literally just outside of the Final 12 – and we will be publishing details of what was great about your entry and playing soon.

We know that you will be disappointed - but remember that you are in the Top 6 % and as such we all seriously advise you to enter again in August 2008 when the new Guitar Idol competition will be launched.

This time there will be monthly heats – thus giving you plenty of time to prepare for the final if you are one of the lucky ones to get through in the early heats!

P.S Some comments: Cesar Huesca – This Mexican guitarist won plaudits for his great sense of touch, phrasing and tone – and this coupled with great chops meant that Cesar was always going to be in the running. His choice of entry was picked up on, as it was felt by many that he didn’t show himself in his best possible light, but make no mistake Cesar is a stunning player who we know we’ll see more of - next time Cesar we expect you there!
